The One Health and Urban Transformation Graduate School invites you to join us on this year’s
One Health Day
3rd November 2020, 10am-4pm,
for our closing symposium on One Health and Urban Transformation at the
Bonner Universitätsclub
Konviktstr. 9
53113 Bonn, Germany.
One Health is an integrative approach at the interface between human, animal and environmental health, requiring inter- and transdisciplinary research and intersectoral collaboration to comprehensively investigate risk dynamics and develop management and mitigation options. The interactions between humans, animals and their shared environment are greatly affected by urbanization processes and transformations leading to health implications and risks both at local and
global level.
The upcoming symposium provides an opportunity for dialogue between stakeholders and academia on One Health and urban transformations.
The symposium will facilitate a discussion of research results from Brazil, Germany, Ghana and India in the spheres of water, food and governance, as well as their One Health implications. International experts, administration representatives from different levels and researchers will give their perspectives with opportunities for audience participation. The event will be held in English and includes an online stream. On-site participation is limited to 70 persons due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Participation is free but registration requested. Please register via email to Sonja.keller@h-brs.de.
The (preliminary) symposium program is available now on ZEF’s Website.
