The project of the BICC (Professor Conrad Schetter, Lars Wirkus) and the University of Bonn (Prof. Matthew Smith, Department of Computer Science 4) with the working title “Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Risks and Challenges for Sustainable Societal Transformation with a specific Focus on Organized Violence and Violent Conflicts” aims at capturing and analyzing the current state of research on the role of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence as a form of organized violence and its role in the elimination of violence and achievement of SDGs 16. Identified challenges and research gaps will serve the Bonn Alliance as a basis for future research questions and project ideas.
