The Bonn Alliance addresses the complexity of problems and issues in the sustainability landscape through networked science. The common goal is to provide scientific support for the implementation of the UN Agenda 2030 from the local to the global level.

In research, the partner institutions of the Bonn Alliance combine university and non-university as well as applied and basic research.

Joint formats in education and knowledge transfer address students, young scientists and practitioners and aim to enable them to implement sustainable solutions for various local and global challenges.
