The next edition of the Water Security and Climate Change conference (WSCC) will be open to the public, free of charge and will have an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For active participation, the call for abstracts will remain open until the end of October 2020.
Current predictions suggest that climate change will have a massive impact on the management and availability of water bringing new challenges for societies and placing unprecedented pressure on key sectors. Therefore, interdisciplinary water management is a crucial factor in enabling societies to adapt to climate change.
The WSCC will be held from 1-4 March 2021 and will serve as a platform where international scientists, policymakers and stakeholders from various sectors and interdisciplinary backgrounds will discuss the diverse facets of water security and its relation to climate variability and change.
Researcher Dr. Mahsa Motlagh (Innovation Campus Bonn, Project digitainable) is a Session Host for our conference!
